Happy new year to you all! Hope you had a good year and look forward to an even better one this year. We've sure had an amazing year, character-building for sure, hot definitely, stressfull yes, loving very much so and interesting absolutely. I don't have time to write a long entry today, have an exam coming up next week...but I have included a bunch of pictures from our christmas holiday in Dubai. My first christmas ever in hot weather and sunshine, my first christmas without my father's christmas ham...ever. But I'm not sad anymore. Sometimes you have to look at the things you've got and not the things you are missing, right?! Like this beautiful girl who stayed up until 12 on New years Eve for the first time, cheering in her coca-cola.

Anyway, christmas kind of started with the Kielys from Burton-on -trent. We had a great time showing them our life in Dubai. A nice lunch at TGI Friday, overlooking the Dubai Marina with all its impressive buildings.

A lovely Kiely Sunday dinner with roast beef and christmas crackers.

Christmas Eve with Santa coming all the way from the North pole. He told the kids that one of his raindeers got stuck in Burj kalifa on the way over. Somehow, I don't think Emma quite believed him...
Lovely Turkey dinner and very nice wine. Isabelle took this picture.
New Years Eve started with a dessert trip to burn off all the food we ate over christmas...Jon did really well this time. We didn't get stuck once! However James was sick and threw up all over his care seat, poor thing.

Playing with Barbie in the hot sand. Why not, that's what we do in Dubai...
Hope the next year will be as exciting as this one!
Love to you all!
